As a teacher of the arts, Gary poses the question of how things are seen. His work stems from a desire to alter, improve, or interfere with the way we see the everyday world. Gary's photography encourages, sometimes forces, viewers to see colour, design, shape, and beauty in that which is often ignored, overlooked, or hidden.
This is reflected in five series: Nature, Figures, Found, Lost and Discarded, and Landscape. This is Gary's 'WAYS OF SEEING'.
